Without a doubt, summer is here y’all! I’m talking “can’t breathe, can’t think, bust out in a sweat walking to your car” summer. And as miserable as that sounds, I love summertime SO much. With it comes all the justification you need to not wear pants all day long. Need I say more. I will be living in dresses and skirts this season.

THIS floral wrap skirt is one of my absolute favorites.  It has such a vintage feel to it.  It is a beautiful navy blue with gorgeous pops of purples and greens. It also comes in a vibrant bright orange. It’s lightweight, breezy, and has an adjustable tie-waist making it perfect for any body type! It also has this subtle slit on the side that shows the right amount of skin to be tasteful.

I paired it with neutrals because I wanted the skirt to do all the talking. The older I get, the more I realize that I lean towards buying all neutral items.  They are the pieces in your closet that you can truly wear over and over again.  I love that the criss cross trend ties into both the top and bottom of this outfit. By the way, these shoes are extremely comfortable. I was highly impressed that my feet did not start hurting walking around downtown in these.
